Job Description

Aldi is looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join their team. This part-time role offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week at a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. Warehouse employees at Aldi work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, handling stock efficiently and ensuring timely delivery to stores.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.
• Work in various temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
