1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This position offers competitive wages starting from $18.50 - $24.50 per hour (based on shift) with various schedule options available. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming and outgoing stock, maintaining warehouse appearance standards, and collaborating effectively with warehouse leadership and peers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work both independently and in a team environment, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and participate in inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old to apply for this role at Aldi.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical roles in the warehouse environment.
