1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage of up to $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. The shift starts at 7:00 AM.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning and warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Participate in process improvement.
• Inspect products and ensure quality and safety.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drives for success, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
