1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety. This full-time position offers a starting wage of up to $18.00-$22.00 per hour, based on shift and schedule differentials.

Responsibilities

• Receive and select incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Move and organize merchandise within the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in meeting budget goals.
• Operate equipment safely and report any product quality or safety concerns.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic abilities and the capacity to work independently or in a team.
