1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a package handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming and outgoing merchandise, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating with the team to achieve operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Collaborate with peers and warehouse leadership for effective communication and process improvement.
• Inspect and ensure product quality and safety standards are met.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in various temperatures, hot and cold environments.
