1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join Aldi's dynamic team. As a Package Handler, you will play a vital role in fulfilling store orders efficiently and maintaining warehouse operations at peak performance. You will be responsible for receiving and organizing incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and ensuring warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving performance goals.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and report sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic arithmetic skills for inventory management.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
