1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at ALDI. As a Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. You will be responsible for receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, and unloading merchandise, as well as maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and assist in achieving budgeted goals.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, follow instructions, and work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and operate powered industrial equipment.
