1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and within a team, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and superiors.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and collaboration.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficient organization and execution skills.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the warehouse.
