1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores, contributing to the satisfaction of our growing customer base. As part of our warehouse team, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas to maintain a smooth operation.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise strategically for shipment preparation.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide feedback on process improvements to enhance operations.
• Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Capable of operating powered industrial equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare deliveries.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and safely operate equipment.
