1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming and outgoing stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse.

Shift Schedules

We have various schedules available, including Schedule A1, Schedule A2, Schedule B, Schedule C, and Schedule D. Each schedule offers unique working hours and days off to accommodate different preferences.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive stock to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to improve processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• High school diploma preferred.

Physical Requirements

This role involves lifting up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, standing, bending, and operating powered industrial equipment. Candidates must be able to work in varying temperatures.
