1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements to the warehouse management.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Perform various physical tasks including bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and more.
