1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations are crucial in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our growing customer base. This position is part-time, with an average of fewer than 30 hours per week and starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and suggest process improvements.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.
• Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness and teamwork.
• Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
• Drives for success and efficiency.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills for inventory management.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and environments.
