1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. The role involves various schedules such as A1, A2, B, C, and D, each with specific working days and off days.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively within the warehouse team.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address any issues.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Acts Conscientiously, Collaborates and Cooperates with Team, Demonstrates Positive Attitude and Resilience, Drives for Success, Organizes and Executes with Efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Engage in various physical activities in a warehouse environment.
