1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the Aldi team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and selecting incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining the warehouse's cleanliness and safety standards. You will work collaboratively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure efficient operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with team members and provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and safety issues.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Demonstrated concern for quality, safety, and collaboration.
• Positive attitude and resilience in facing challenges.
• Drive for success and efficiency in execution.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Moving and preparing merchandise for delivery.
• Various physical activities in warehouse environments.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
