1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join Aldi, a leading discount supermarket chain. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and safety of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock for store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
• Execute tasks accurately within company guidelines.
• Follow safety protocols and ergonomic procedures.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
