1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the dynamic team at Aldi. As a full-time stocker, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment according to warehouse guidelines. Your contribution will ensure the efficient fulfillment of orders and successful inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling procedures.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically to facilitate shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide suggestions for process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
• Inspect product quality and report any concerns to management.
• Operate equipment safely to perform tasks efficiently.
• Follow established procedures and guidelines for optimal warehouse performance.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, perform basic arithmetic, pay attention to detail, and work independently or in a team setting.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, grip, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
