1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the ALDI team. As part of our dynamic warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently managing incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring timely preparation for shipment. This role involves maintaining warehouse standards, cooperating with team members and leadership, and contributing to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders promptly.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse management.
• Provide input for process enhancements and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and contribute to budget goals.
• Operate equipment safely and follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Demonstrated competencies in quality, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, communicate effectively, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Detail-oriented, team player with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate industrial equipment.
• Engage in physical tasks like bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
