1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are currently hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi. This position is full-time, with an average of 30-35 hours per week. Starting wage is up to $22.75 per hour, and the shift begins at 8:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow company policies and procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Moving merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Various physical activities including sitting, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and walking.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
