1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations by ensuring that products are received, selected, and delivered efficiently to our stores. Our ideal candidate should be able to work in different warehouse environments, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to maintaining the warehouse's appearance standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Cooperate with team members and provide input to improve processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety concerns.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively, adapt positively to challenges, and drive for success.
• Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, and efficiency in organizing tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in various temperatures and environments.
