1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As part of the warehouse crew, you will play a key role in efficiently managing stock, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating effectively with colleagues and leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Strategically sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning to meet warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and offer input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Contribute to achieving budgeted goals and follow company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and placing products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Moving merchandise, sitting, standing, bending, and operating powered industrial equipment.
• Working in varying temperatures and environments.
