1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As an essential part of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. Working in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, you will receive comprehensive training and safety programs to ensure your success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines and prepare for shipment.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to improve processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and report any concerns to management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to perform physical tasks with or without accommodation.
• Ability to collaborate, adapt positively to challenges, and drive for success.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
