Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time team member, you will play a crucial role in various warehouse operations, including receiving stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing shipments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work both independently and within a team, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders accurately.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated ability to act conscientiously, collaborate with a team, maintain a positive attitude, drive for success, and organize tasks efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in varying warehouse conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Engage in physical activities like standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Work in different temperature environments and operate industrial equipment safely.
