1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week, starting at an hourly rate of up to $18.00 - $24.00, depending on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for various duties including selecting and receiving stock, organizing merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with peers and leadership. You must be at least 18 years old to apply and exhibit competencies such as conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise.
• Perform general cleaning duties and inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place product up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
