Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with team members and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Move merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and appearance.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and follow warehouse procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and collaborates well with the team.
• Adaptable, positive attitude, and drives for success.
• Efficient in organization, decision-making, and adherence to standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
