1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including receiving stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing shipments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment and unload incoming deliveries.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic equations and follow instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to lift and move items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a plus.
