1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a valued member of our warehouse staff, you will play a crucial role in efficiently selecting, receiving, and organizing merchandise to fulfill orders and maintain warehouse standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate within safety guidelines and report any issues.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures.
• Follow ergonomic and safety protocols for equipment operation.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or within a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• Continuous movement and operation in varying temperatures.
• Safe operation of powered industrial equipment.
