Job Description
We are looking for a motivated 2nd Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our growing customer base. As a key member of our team, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receiving a starting wage of $25.75 per hour for fewer than 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise based on handling guidelines.
- Organize and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and collaborate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving budget goals.
- Operate equipment following safety guidelines and report any issues promptly.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting up to 45 pounds, frequent movement of merchandise, and operation of powered industrial equipment.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and physical agility for warehouse tasks.
