2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. The position offers competitive starting wages ranging from $22.75 to $28.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a package handler, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise, and preparing shipments.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Prepare shipments by strategically sorting, organizing, and loading merchandise.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and achieve budgeted goals.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate concern for product quality and safety.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Adapt positively to challenges and changes.
• Maintain efficiency and compliance with company standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Work both independently and in a team environment.
