ArcBest II ABF Freight is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team. As one of the largest and most trusted LTL carriers in the country, we are looking for individuals who are dedicated to ensuring the timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.

General Description of Duties

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for safe and efficient freight handling.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks according to schedules, provide training, and monitor performance.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment for all personnel and customers.
• Promote safe handling, loading, and storage of hazardous materials.
• Work in a team environment to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in service center operations and transportation preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
