ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our team in Denver, CO. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the timely, safe, and efficient loading and unloading of freight on assigned shifts. Your responsibilities will include maintaining load plans, coordinating work assignments, providing training and feedback to employees, and ensuring a positive and safe working environment.

General Description of Duties

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe operations.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and monitor performances.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary recommendations as needed.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and promote safe handling of materials.
• Contribute to a values-driven culture focused on excellence and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in service center or transportation industry preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight handling techniques.
