Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations ensure that products are received, selected, and delivered to our stores efficiently for our growing number of customers to enjoy. This role offers the opportunity to work an average of 30 to 35 hours per week, with starting hourly rates ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 USD, depending on the shift and schedule differentials.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to effectively fulfill orders received from stores.
- Reposition merchandise throughout the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
- Strategically sort, organize, and load merchandise to prepare for shipping and unload incoming truck/return load transport.
- Engage in general cleaning tasks to meet warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts following guidelines.
- Cooperate and interact efficiently with colleagues, suppliers, and warehouse leaders through continuous communication and information exchange.
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to perform tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to act independently in the delegated area of responsibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Education and Experience
- Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting and placing of products weighing up to 20 kg at various pallet heights.
- Frequent movement of warehouse inventory and preparation of product for store deliveries.
- Continuous work at varying, hot, and cold temperatures.
- Ability to safely and properly operate motorized industrial equipment.
