Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join the Aldi team. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, improve operational results, and lead a team to provide exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 38 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $26.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the leadership team to enhance operating results
• Communicate job responsibilities and expectations to team members
• Identify training opportunities for team development
• Ensure adherence to company strategy and values
• Monitor and respond to the competitive environment
• Provide feedback on products and perform inventory management
• Supervise store operations and maintain cleanliness standards
• Merchandise products for maximum sales

Qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Knowledge of retail management principles
• Operational and budgeting proficiency
• Prior retail experience and management background preferred

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 3 years retail experience
• Combination of education and experience required
• Prior management experience preferred
