Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing day-to-day store operations, managing schedules, and developing action plans to enhance overall performance. Additionally, you will lead a team, identify training opportunities, and ensure a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and make necessary adjustments to maintain the company's position.
  • Provide product feedback and participate in the hiring process.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Prior retail experience and management experience preferred.
