Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing day-to-day store operations, managing schedules, providing leadership to the team, and ensuring the store's overall success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Ensure adherence to company values and promote teamwork among employees.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and make recommendations to maintain competitiveness.
  • Supervise store operations and address customer concerns effectively.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, proper signage, and stock levels.
  • Ensure quality and freshness of products and maximize sales through effective merchandising.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Experience in retail management is preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
