Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position involves supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and fostering the growth of the team. As a key member of the management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall performance and success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance store operations.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and make strategic recommendations.
- Maintain inventory procedures, ensure product quality, and optimize stock levels.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and provide excellent customer service.
- Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring a clean and safe store environment.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of retail management principles and practices.
- Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in a management role.
