Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position involves supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and fostering the growth of the team. As a key member of the management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall performance and success of the store.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and make strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain inventory procedures, ensure product quality, and optimize stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and provide excellent customer service.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring a clean and safe store environment.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of retail management principles and practices.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in a management role.
