Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of the store, ensuring operational efficiency and delivering exceptional customer service. This position involves overseeing store activities, managing schedules, implementing action plans, and fostering a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the direct leader in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operational results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and suggest adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash controls are followed to minimize losses.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations, escalating issues when necessary.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
