Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing store activities, supervising the team, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position involves developing operational strategies, conducting team training, and maintaining store standards to drive business success.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in improving operating results and developing action plans.
- Communicate job responsibilities and expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and suggest strategies to maintain market position.
- Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies adherence.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, escalate issues when necessary, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- 18 years or older with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Prior retail experience and ability to operate a cash register.
- Knowledge of management principles and budgeting.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive retail experience, management experience preferred.
