Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join Aldi's team, where you will play a vital role in store management. Your responsibilities will include assisting with day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. Additionally, you will identify training opportunities to foster team growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
  • Identify training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and suggest necessary adjustments.
  • Provide product feedback and participate in the interviewing process.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise team operations and ensure high levels of customer service.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in retail management preferred.
