Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store activities, supervising the team, and ensuring operational excellence. You will help develop action plans, provide training opportunities, and maintain the overall performance of the store.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operating results.
- Communicate job expectations and performance goals to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
- Ensure compliance with company strategy and values to foster teamwork.
- Monitor the competitive environment and recommend necessary adjustments.
- Participate in the selection and training of store personnel.
- Oversee inventory procedures and cash control policies.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and ensure exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Prior retail management experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to operate store equipment efficiently and safely.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
