Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store activities, supervising the team, and ensuring operational excellence. You will help develop action plans, provide training opportunities, and maintain the overall performance of the store.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operating results.
• Communicate job expectations and performance goals to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
• Ensure compliance with company strategy and values to foster teamwork.
• Monitor the competitive environment and recommend necessary adjustments.
• Participate in the selection and training of store personnel.
• Oversee inventory procedures and cash control policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and ensure exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Prior retail management experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate store equipment efficiently and safely.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
