Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in store management, overseeing daily activities, ensuring store performance, creating schedules, and developing operational strategies. Your responsibilities will include identifying training opportunities to foster team growth and productivity.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 38 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $25.50 per hour

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the direct leader to improve operational results
• Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for team members
• Identify and implement training initiatives for team development
• Ensure adherence to company strategy and values
• Monitor the competitive landscape and provide feedback for improvement
• Participate in the hiring process and manage inventory and product handling guidelines
• Supervise day-to-day operations and address customer concerns
• Maintain store cleanliness, stock levels, and product presentation
• Achieve payroll and budget goals while ensuring customer service excellence
• Comply with company policies and procedures

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience in retail environment management
• Effective leadership and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
