Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with managing day-to-day store activities, supervising the team, and ensuring the overall performance of the store. You will be responsible for developing operational action plans, identifying training opportunities, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Monitor the competitive environment and make recommendations to maintain competitiveness.
• Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
• Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper stock levels.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and lead a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate store equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
