Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Retail Supervisor, you will play a key role in store management by supervising day-to-day activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. You will also be responsible for identifying training opportunities to grow and develop the team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to improve store operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Ensure adherence to company strategy and core values.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback for strategic adjustments.
• Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
• Ensure inventory procedures and product handling guidelines are followed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and merchandise products effectively.
• Supervise team operations and provide exceptional customer service.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Experience in a retail environment, with prior management experience preferred.
