Associate Buyer at Aldi
National Buying Services is the department at Aldi dedicated to acquiring quality products at the lowest prices. We are looking for a motivated Associate Buyer to join our team in Batavia, IL. In this role, you will work closely with suppliers to oversee the product life cycle, manage projects, and ensure quality and corporate responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Support the Buying Director in managing product life cycles.
- Organize and manage product samples from suppliers.
- Strategize to solve problems with vendors and product issues.
- Utilize computer applications for database management and tracking.
- Provide training, contribute to teamwork, and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Business or related field required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
