Caregiver

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join Charter Senior Living of Gallatin. As a valuable member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident care following Charter Senior Living Mission and Core Values.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including grooming, dressing, and medication reminders.
• Offer emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily care provided and communicate any concerns to the supervisor.
• Ensure residents' independence, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Participate in training, meetings, and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.

Requirements

• Willingness to work with the elderly.
• Effective communication skills with empathy and professionalism.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Capacity to handle pressure and critical situations calmly.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, CPR/First Aid Certification may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with memory impaired adults preferred.
• Understanding of the aging process.
• Background check required for employment.
