Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc (NASDAQ: JAZZ) is a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing life-changing medicines for patients with serious diseases. We are currently seeking a Clinical Development Lead specializing in Solid Tumor Oncology for BTC (Biliary Tract Cancer) and GEA (Gastroesophageal Adenocarcinoma). In this role, you will lead the late-stage development and life-cycle management of a key Oncology asset for BTC and GEA. Responsibilities include providing strategic direction for clinical development, developing global clinical plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing clinical trials, analyzing data, managing risks, and fostering external collaborations. The ideal candidate will have experience in successfully leading Solid Tumor Oncology assets through late-stage development, developing high-performing teams, and possess strong executive presence. MD with board certification in Oncology is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for clinical development of Solid Tumor Oncology program for BTC and GEA.
  • Develop and execute global clinical development plans, study design, and regulatory strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of programs.
  • Oversee clinical trials, data analysis, and risk management.
  • Cultivate external relationships to advance the oncology pipeline.
  • Manage budget, resources, and team development.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in leading Solid Tumor Oncology asset development.
  • Proven experience in leading high-performing clinical development teams.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • MD required, board certification preferred.
  • Higher postgraduate degree (PhD) preferred.
  • Clinical or development experience in Solid Tumor Oncology preferred.
