Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi, one of the fastest growing retailers in the nation. As a Construction Cost Project Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing construction costs on a national level, collaborating with divisional real estate teams to evaluate construction bids and ensure cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work with Construction Managers to negotiate with contractors.
• Prepare detailed bid analysis and reports for project evaluation.
• Review and approve contract pricing.
• Research cost-saving opportunities and alternative construction practices.
• Provide pricing forecasts and maintain pricing data records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction documents and costs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction cost estimation software.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
