Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, stocking products, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. competencies and professional skills.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
  • Comply with company policies while ensuring document and data security.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficiently operate a cash register and other equipment.
  • Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is a plus.
