Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, stocking products, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. competencies and professional skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies while ensuring document and data security.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and other equipment.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
