Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our ALDI team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your collaboration with team members and clear communication with store management will be essential in enhancing the overall customer shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues observed.
- Participate in store inventory counts according to guidelines.
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and comply with company procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent customer service and cash register operation skills.
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
