Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and organize merchandise neatly on shelves.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Offer feedback to management regarding products, inventory, and any issues that arise.
- Participate in regular store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses and adhere to company procedures.
- Comply with all company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality standards.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of meeting cleaning standards and interpreting company policies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
