Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our ALDI team. As a full-time Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide exceptional customer service. You will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through collaboration and effective communication with team members and management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTs Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
  • Participate in taking inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
  • Follow company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • High school diploma preferred, retail experience a plus.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
